I want to send out a HUGE thank you to the incredible volunteer effort of the past week for the Global Presidential Primary. In Switzerland, we held three voting centers and four ballot assistance events. Folks stepped up to help engage voters and ensure that DA's voice will be well-represented at the Democratic Convention in August. Thank you, and let's continue this incredible volunteer momentum through November!
Voting in the Global Presidential Primary ends today! If you didn't make it to one of our voting events over the last week, you still have a little time to request your ballot and vote before midnight Pacific time tonight!
Below you will find our upcoming events for the rest of March and all of April. Importantly, we have our Annual General Meeting coming up on April 21st. I hope you will join us online as we brainstorm together for Get Out the Vote, revise our bylaws, and elect DPCA representatives. These representatives will be tasked with voting on the DA platform and resolutions, representing us at regional and global meetings, and electing our convention delegates. If you'd like to run for one of these positions, click here.
Lastly, we have some fun social events coming up such as drinks events in all three chapters, the monthly book club, which is online and in person, and an easy hike along the Frick Cherry Trail, which should be in full bloom! Hope to see you on the (campaign) trail!
